EVIDENCE-BASED SKINCARE. Clinically proven to improve skin elasticity. A clinical trial was conducted where PTT-6® was applied to aged skin cells. It was found that these cells produced 56% more elastin and 83% more Hyaluronic Acid after exposure to PTT-6®.

WHAT IT IS
Elastin. A protein naturally found in skin that determines skin tautness and fullness. It provides skin with a 'spring back' quality. Skin naturally loses its production of elastin as it ages and this leads to lax skin, fine lines wrinkles.
PTT-6®
PTT-6® harnesses the body's natural mechanisms of regeneration. It contains over 3,000 proteins, including growth factors, cytokines and exosomes that signal cells to regenerate.
Linolenic Acid
A naturally occurring fatty acid that hydrates, soothes and conditions the skin while reducing inflammation and irritation. It limits the appearance of fine lines and hyperpigmentation by accelerating the removal of melanin from the top layer of the skin.
Soluble Collagen
One of the most hydrating ingredients to be used on the surface of the skin. When applied, it produces a water-rich film which allows for retained moisture and hydration. It brings shape, strength and structure to the skin's cells.
Hyaluronic Acid
A substance that is naturally found in skin and is capable of holding 1,000 times its weight in water. It increases the moisture content of the skin by acting as a natural hydrator. Hyaluronic Acid helps the skin to stretch and flex, eliminating the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It also has been proven to help repair damage and reduce scarring.
Lactic Acid
Acts as an exfoliant for the skin, it works by removing the top layer of dead skin cells, and helping increase cellular turnover. This allows for softened skin, retained moisture and a renewed radiance.
Tocopherol
An antioxidant and the active form of Vitamin E. It naturally occurs in the body but can become depleted from environmental aggressors. Tocopherol provides deep replenishment and reduces inflammation, while protecting the skin membrane from free radicals.

Why is there a smell to the Multi-Action Cream?
The Multi-Action Cream is fragrance-free. The smell comes from the high concentration of active ingredient, mainly Cord Lining extract, in the formulation. The smell disappears soon after application and most users don't notice it after a few minutes.
Which cream is more suitable for my skintype: the Multi-Action Cream or Restorative Hydration Cream?
Multi-Action Cream is designed for patients who are looking for a powerful anti-aging corrective treatment. It targets significant signs of aging such as skin laxity, deep wrinkles and folds, and loss of skin density.
Restorative Hydration Cream is for all skin types that will benefit from deep hydration. It restores radiance to dehydrated skins, smoothing out fine line and shadows.
These two products can be used together. With the Multi-Action Cream being applied before the Restorative Hydration Cream.
Why does my current jar of Multi-Action Cream look and smell different from the last one?
The extract derived from each batch of Cord Lining is slightly different. This results in slight differences in color and smell in the end product because of the high concentration of active ingredient used.
When can I start seeing results from the Multi-Action Cream?
When used as a daily moisturizer or corrective treatment, Multi-Action Cream supplies the skin nutrients that aids and boosts the restoration of your skin's renewal cycle back to 28 days. This process is known as the skin-cycle reset and may take two to four weeks for results to take effect. Optimal results can usually be observed after 90 days.
Can I use this as a moisturizer?
It depends on your skin type. If your skin is Oily / Normal / Combination, you may find the Multi-Action Cream sufficiently emollient for your skin. If your skin is very dry, you may want to apply a separate moisturizer above, or pair it with the Restorative Hydration Cream.
Can I use CALECIM® Professional with types of Vitamin C, AHAs, BHAs and anti-oxidants? How do I incorporate CALECIM® Professional into my regimen with these other active ingredients?
CALECIM® Professional works well with most active ingredients commonly used in other skincare. Your skincare should be layered according to the viscosity of the product. Water-based products should be applied first (like toners, and watery serums), followed by gel-like textures. Light creams can be applied after, followed by heavier creams. For AM regimens, sunblock should be applied last.
Is this safe to use immediately after a skin procedure?
It depends on how ablative your procedure was. All creams / serums / gels should only be applied to skin that has fully epithelized.
Can I use CALECIM® Professional products if I have acne?
While the occasional pimple may be part of the natural process of skin renewal, you should avoid the use any CALECIM® Professional skincare if you have active acne. Your doctor or dermatologist will be able to ascertain whether you are a suitable candidate for the product.
Can I use CALECIM® Professional products if I am breast-feeding or pregnant?
Yes, CALECIM® Professional products are safe for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. However, we highly recommend that you consult your obstetrician/gynaecologist before starting any new skincare routine.
Is CALECIM® Professional approved by the USFDA?
Cosmetic products such as CALECIM® Professional do not require the approval of the USFDA to enter a market. The cosmetic industry is however regulated by the USFDA through its VCRP program. CALECIM® Professional and all its products are registered with the USFDA VCRP.
